Pricing

Prices for design and drafting services are outlined in the following tiered pricing structure based on box count:

• One to two of the following count as one box each: end panels, back panels, legs, feet, corbels, brackets and valances.
• All moldings, fillers, toe skins and miscellaneous trims collectively count as one box.
• No charges added for accessories added to cabinetry that are not visible in drawings such as roll out shelves, tray dividers, sink base tilt-out trays, cutlery inserts or bread boards. No charges added for visual custom modifications to cabinets such as special sizes, removing doors, butt doors, finished interiors or glass door inserts.
• Each major appliance or sink counts as a box (even if it is to be installed into a cabinet such as a cook top or a built-in oven). Appliance panels and plant-on doors count each count as a box.
• The building structure (walls, floors, ceiling, soffit, windows and doors) counts as two boxes per room. Exception: if there is only one wall, it counts as one box.
• The counter tops and backsplashes collectively count as one box within the context of the cabinet plan set. Separate counter top plans are $50.
• The minimum charge is $200 and includes a plan set and 20-20 Design retail price quote. See the 10×10 Sample Plan Set for typical layout. Projects with no 20-20 Design retail price quote included will be discounted $50.
• Reverse plans for previously created plans are discounted at 25%. (Entire plans reversed are not considered revisions for pricing purposes.)
• A deposit of 50 percent of the estimate as indicated on the Project Agreement is required to start a project.

The default size for a plan set is letter size in landscape orientation. Larger format sizes are available for the initial set at no extra charge. However, a change from the initial format size and/or orientation is considered a revision.

Plan sets (including renderings) are black and white by default. This is due to limitations of the software to accurately represent color of some models. Color is available if requested but outcome is not guaranteed.

A minimum turn-around time for plans once sketches and a signed agreement is received by PamDesigns is 2 business days for a typical kitchen plan (see 10×10 sample). Estimates for completion time will be given for larger projects. Revisions can be completed in less time (please ask). Items can be sent to PamDesigns via e-mail, fax or snail mail.

All documents (plan sets and 20-20 retail price quotes) are sent by PamDesigns via email. An invoice for the work completed will accompany the email (due net 10 calendar days upon receipt of invoice). Additional work or new projects will not be started if dealer has outstanding unpaid invoices past the due date.
